Yes, I have once, there was a break in and I notified cops when my security system notified me, which was about 5 seconds after the initial break in... the cops took about 20 seconds to respond, and the guy was captured within 10 minutes... I have an app hooked up to a silent security system, the system notifies me, I can then forward it to the cops via. their app that allows you to go straight to the cops instead of going through the operator.

Edited by Mega Blaziken: 7/17/2013 8:58:59 PMI live in Ontario, Canada, my local PD has some computer whizzes who know how to code really well, I talked to them, and they helped me set it up, and it is, especially because I choose to send it higher up, just incase I forgot my house key or something and don't have to drag the cops down whenever something like that happens and I have to force the lock. It's a real shame though, almost no one uses it because everyone around here is a freaking redneck who hates this kind of tech, and doesn't use alarm systems in their houses.
