1 ReplyEdited by Friendlystu: 7/10/2013 8:36:59 AMwell my old school been given a Community police officer to its school (doesn't carry gun or anything of the sort) but hes pretty useful for the students when they need answers to certain questions either pertaining to the law or career in police. So thats something but giving a gun to teachers thats just edging for something to happen.

Can we just drop the charade and call school "Prison-Conditioning" now?

Good to see somewhere is actually doing something to address a problem, as much of a band-aid as it is. -
High Five OP, for once OP is not a fag. Back when I was in High School, there wasn't a single shooting in my county and still wish my teachers had that option. "But it will make students feel less safe." Lol, piss off liberal coward. I trust an authority figure like a teacher with a gun. "Teachers might not be capable of using it!" Hence why those with the proper paperwork and license can only do it. Try again. "They'll go on a shooting spree themselves!" BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You're grasping for desperate counter arguments now. "It'll take the same response time as the police." My High School was huge, and I was still able to get around the campus in less than two minutes. Once again, your grasping for desperate counter arguments that don't work. Any other counter argument is too trivial or as much as a joke as these top four. Cry harder liberals, OP is sleeping soundly at night, knowing no students in his area will be dieing by shooting, and guns WERE the answer.

5 RepliesWhy not tighter gun laws? Up here in Canada we buy guns when we need them, for hunting. The only other people who have guns are the gangs but they don't just go out and shoot random people, therefore we don't need to have a gun on our hip all the time.
-
4 RepliesThat's not the brightest move. A large student or one that knows how to fight can simply overpower a teacher and take their gun.

2 RepliesEdited by Gruntzilla24: 7/8/2013 11:57:37 PMPointless and dangerous law. First of all, the percentage of teachers nationwide that would actually carry a gun if they had the choice is extremely low. So only a handful of teachers would actually do it, and the chances of any teachers in your school doing it are fairly low. Second of all, the armed teacher might have the same exact response time as the cops. If they're on the other end of the school, it might take them 2-3 minutes to make their way to the shooter's location. Then they would have to be a good enough shot to hit the shooter without hitting anyone else, and tactically smart enough not to get shot themselves. The chances of an armed teacher effectively stopping a mass shooting are dramatically lower than the chances of the other possible outcomes. The other possible outcomes: -Racial persecution -Overreacting to a possible threat and shooting someone -Accidents (leaving the gun somewhere) -Going on a shooting spree themselves Third of all, both teachers unions and police unions have come out as against this idea. Fourth of all, it makes students feel less safe. If we ACTUALLY want to stop mass shootings, can't we look at the actual causes and things that help the shooters, rather than hoping our teachers will somehow go rambo?

OFF TOPIC ON A OFF TOPIC POST Umm dud you know there's apples that have a toxin in it that put people to sleep i got some of these apples and i give them to my teacher and they sleep the while time we are in class and me and the other student sit back and text people or like me get on bungie.net

1 ReplyYes I am.. I am a Teacher's Aid and even some students are mentally questionable. We have a third grader threatening the lives of younger students with a gun and yet he is still allowed on campus.. wtf!? If he ever shows up and goes Rambo on the staff and other children.. I'm quitting if I make it out alive.
-
No that would be scary.

In Montana everyone owns a gun, so I have no reason to be jelly.
-
Why would I be jealous about this?
-
Interesting. I've always been curious as to how that would play out in practice.
-
1 ReplyI can just imagine that now. Teacher: Sit down Joey.... Student: NO! Teacher. *loads guns* Student: ok.....
-
6 RepliesWait till you get forced into giving the teacher a blowjob.
-
I predict more school shootings due to angry teachers.
-
2 RepliesIs that something that can be done at the municipal level?
-
4 RepliesWhy would I be jealous? I don't want to live in a place where violent, paranoid, idiots are legally able to carry firearms wherever they go.
-
1 ReplyI would feel unsafe with some of my teachers carrying guns.
-
That isn't very intelligent.

11 RepliesEdited by Jaaake AU: 7/8/2013 9:21:26 PMThe United States is so backwards in comparison to the rest of the modern world, haha. Spring of school shootings? Just put more guns into the equation! I just love that. It's comical.
-
Good.

6 RepliesI think that ever house should have a gun because if you get a gun up in your head you will die because you don't have a gun but if you had a gun you would not die

No I am not Jam.
