1st: You are the first User Research Test Subject I've seen besides myself. 2nd: I think this is because that's not visible to other users, as I couldn't see the User Research title on your profile. I only saw it because you posted the picture. 3rd: This bug is present on my profile as well. OS-Windows 7 Browser-IE 10 Addons/plugins-Shockwave Flash Object & Microsoft Silverlight Dark Theme

Yeah Its only visible on your own profile, I just wanted to use the picture to have visual evidence. Well at least now we know it isn't only me and not only on Firefox. Thanks for checking it out too!

  • No problem. And I turned off all my plugins and changed my theme to Light, and the bug is still there. I'll try it on Google Chrome later. Maybe someone on Safari could test it as well.

  • Haha, it is satisfying isn't it? And then you want a reward for finding it. But alas, that is not to be...

To me, its more about just helping out and digging through something to find that one thing that may be wrong, even though everything else is right, and then getting the joy of saying you helped find it.. Thats really the reward, in my opinion though. Thats why I enjoy finding the bugs and writing up a report for them. But I do understand and know how you feel ;) haha But like you said it is satisfying haha

My sentiments exactly. It's a strange thing to feel: excitement at discovering something doesn't work as intended.

  • Oh yeah, no doubt, that's the satisfying part, knowing you helped in improving the site for everyone else. A reward in and of itself.
