MS sure is awesome at PR lately. Make suggestive comments to hype everyone for Halo 3 coming soon. When it does not, make vague promises and contradictory statements. Next move, begrudgingly release Halo 3 with a half-hearted apology that blames gamers for the confusion.

I don't get how it's MS's fault. They blatantly said "Coming Soon." not "July 1st". Nowhere did they ever imply that Halo 3 was next nor ACII, but of course, people are just looking for excuses to hate on MS. It's cool, if you don't want to make an informed decision about a company, you don't have to.

I will agree that Microsoft did not say when Halo 3 and ACII were going to be free but the matter is how they did it. They announced free games to be given and throw out Halo 3 and ACII with the announcement of the program basically makes people think those games are gonna kickoff the program. So there would be less rage if Microsoft had actually announced the first games of the program and then say upcoming later shall be Halo 3 and ACII
