The $499 price tag doesn't bother you at all? Wow... Kids these days...

I have a job. I can save up $50 every two weeks and I'll have the Xbox One in a matter of a few weeks. But yeah, I'm totally a kid.
-
Yeah, because there's nothing better to spend your money on... Look, I'm not judging. I'm just saying the $499 price tag would only appeal to two types of people: a) people with obscene amounts of expendable money (or people living on credit); or b) kids that don't have more important things to spend their money on.
-
Yeah and if you spend 400 on a ps4, or 500 on a video card in your computer? What that's not a lot of money either? Get a grip.
-
Again... I'm comparing PS4 and Xbox. Quit with the Red Herring.
-
No, it's about being economical (and I don't play PC games). Both are expensive, respectively. Besides, don't you have to spend another $50 just to play online with the Xbox? You buy an Xbox, one game, and online access to play said game with friends... Well, you're over $600 so far. For the win.
-
Or you could get a PS4, a PS4 game, and the PS+ subscription you need to play that game with friends. Now you're over $500. The $100 difference is negligible when you look at how long it should last. $100 over an entire decade isn't really something to get upset about. The cheapest investment isn't always the best one.

Ps3 launched at 600 bucks
-
I didn't buy a PS3 at launch...
-
Wasn't a launch PS3 $600?
-
Not really, I just won't go out to the bars as much and it will pays for itself in 2 weeks.
-
Then get a real job. That pays real money. I'm over thirty and I'd be able to comfortably afford four or five Xbox One's or PoS 4's. You get what you pay for, and I know that these new consoles are going to repay that miniscule investment easily ten times over in the first six months by how many hours of enjoyment I'll get out of them. then figure that both are slated to have 10+ year lifespans... that $399/$499 tag definitely isn't a problem. Or at least be smarter with money and quit spending outside your means and you'll be amazed at how much money you'll have freed up.

You know who says "kids these days"? Kids...

$500 investment over 5+ years. Doesn't bother me one bit
