Oh cool an anti religious thread.
Who cares. The kid should keep his sexuality to himself.

No, the kid should not. He shouldn't have to hide who he really is to be cared for by foster parents. The foster parents are the ones who should suppress their prejudice.
-
Nice double standard there. The kid should keep to himself in someone else's house.
-
No. If the foster parents are going to be taking in kids who have a chance of being gay, they should be OK with that. They shouldn't take in someone who they have a chance of throwing out for no reason.
-
Why? Its their house? Its their rules.
-
Their rules can't be no gays, just like it can't be no blacks.
-
It can be whatever they like.
-
Legally, you are technically right. But if you think that this is morally right, something is wrong with you.
-
Of course its not morally right. But yes, Its legally fine. if they don't want to adopt a black child, they dont have to. And like I said before, Its just easier if the child keeps his sexuality to himself until he is 18. It would make his life alot easier.
-
You should have made that more clear. If the kid knew that his foster parents were homophobes, he shouldn't have said anything. But that doesn't mean that it's OK that his parents would do this.

Edited by Eternal Way: 6/23/2013 4:58:39 AMOh no, he should be open about his sexuality. It is religious people who must be violently suppressed so that they will not be vocal about their irrational opposition to homosexuality. Death to Christianity!!!!

Edited by Ryan: 6/23/2013 12:03:32 AMOh look someone that almost invariably posts a controversial view that contradicts the viewpoint held by the majority of forum-goers in an effort to start a flame war. Ignore/mute and move on.

Oh yeah because I'm not allowed to have a differing opinion. And you're doing a great job ignoring me. I mean that was a pretty lengthy reply for it to be considered ignoring. Like I said. I have nothing against gay people. But he should keep his sexual orientation to himself.

Remember, if you are stigmatized, do it in silence. People don't want to be inconvenienced or annoyed by the fact that you exist.
