I'm an English man-at-arms searching the forest borders for people who don't support Stephen of Blois.
(Assuming the time frame is 1135≤ time ≤1150)

-
(I guess you could say during that time period,I had no specific date in mind) You find the camp out in the the distance while scouting
-
I marvel at the odd contraptions set up outside the tents, they look dangerous and appear to be following my movement. I load my crossbow.
-
Meanwhile, at the camp, a scientist notices the turrets aiming at the man-at-arms. "Hold Fire" he says to the turrets while he holsters a Gauss rifle
-
I keep my crossbow trained on the man, while slowly approaching. "Speak thy name! What is your business in these woodlands?"
-
The scientist turns around to find the man-at-arms "I am from a time almost 1000 years beyond this time, we come to study and to expand historical knowledge, and to preserve said knowledge for all time." A taller man donning powered armor and holding a plasma rifle approaches "This guy giving you any trouble Doc?" he says in a gruff voice. "No no, I'm sure he means no trouble" the scientist replies "He's probably shocked and curious like anybody would be"
-
Upon seeing the man in huge, brutish armour, I lower my crossbow. My quilted doublet couldn't stand up to their foreign technologies. "Again, what is your business here? England is in a state of civil war, false pretenders lay claim to the throne. This is no place for travellers."
-
The Powered Armored Man speaks up "Like the Doc said, research, we're practicing non-interference and we have no interest in any throne or any crown. However, I got a deal for ya." He continues "We could provide some assistance in the war, if we get whoever is ruling to allow the scientists here to get-" Suddenly, a hostile squad of melee infantrymen find the camp and attack, the Armored Man aims and fires bolts of deep blue plasma at the attackers, incinerating all they hit, a hostile knight comes from behind and charges, the Armored man whacks him with the butt of his rifle
-
I dive into the fray and go to slit the knight's throat. "Stephen of Blois rules. I doubt he has time for the likes of you. We are losing the war. Do you mind if I kill him?"
-
Edited by ImperialAdmiral: 6/21/2013 5:19:31 AM"He's yours" The Armored Man says The scientist turns to him, "Must we really break our promise of not interfering so quickly? I don't think we should get involved in medieval politics!" The Armored man replies "Does it really matter? everything resets when we go back, anything we do ain't gonna matter anyway. If it where my way, I'd find the fort of whoever attacked us and level it with a battery of plasma fire."
-
I slice the throat of the knight. "If it is the fort you're looking for, I may be able to help you. I have been scouting as part of a three-man contingent. One of my companions may have located the fort. You could follow me to my rendezvous and hope God has blessed one of them with good fortune. You could have your revenge."
-
The Scientist sighs and accepts the armored man's antics and pulls out a small tablet, and maps the entire area in seconds. "I have the nearest hostile fort mapped, I give it about 30 minutes before we turn it to rubble and hot ash. Might give you a leg up, and a greater chance of victory" The armored man pulls out a small remote and opens a gate between the two time periods, giving a large window into the future. "Just let me grab a few things". Minutes later he stands at the portal with 4 mobile plasma artillery unites. He says "Take a look at these puppies, I think you may like them"
-
I draw my sword. "I like to see man's face as I kill him."
