Territorial Conquest style. have player's clans be able for form player made factions (similar to EVE//DUST 514 alliances) and fight for control of territory on certain planet/s also have players in NPC factions to be able to fight on behalf of those factions on another set of planet/s more akin to Faction Warfare in EVE. DUST 514/WoT has a good idea of how to do territorial conquest already....this is the type of player driven content that would keep ppl loggin in and interested in the game especially if Bungie wants this to be a 10yr game like they are preaching

I'm not saying i wouldn't like to se something like that on console, i think skyrim should have had something similar, with PvP to control some major city's. Hopefully elder scrolls online will be like that. The idea of fighting in PvP to control a major base on each planet which will gran the owners perks such as XP bonus' on that planet and other stuff. Thats cool. But the only way i can see bungie doing something like this is if it is a battleground style where one clan challenges another and they fight for that individual plot of land.

Land owner sets a time window when they are vulnerable for attack Attacker launches attack and owner gets 24hr notice of attack and the fight happens in 24-48hrs of the "challenge" goin down. I wasnt talkin more MMO style always open sort of pvp but a more structured PvP but with meaning behind it other than an end match screen with stats and some XP and on a grander scale. I think the sense of ownership and consequences in losing something will keep ppl coming back to a game for a long period of time other than just basic arena style with stats. This also creates player driven content as u start to see player made "factions/alliances" forming and player driven wars breaking out with actual purpose behind it.
