Old as in meaning the layout and all that.
New as in meaning what we have now.
I like new Bungie.net except for the following...
-You can change your name and people can run around with the same name... Take SecondClass for example.
-People can run around with very inappropriate usernames, I know you can mute/ignore the person but I mean why would you be able to run around with the name Poison Pussy to begin with. Just for an example.
-Old forum layout was better but hashtags, etc would be been way better with the old look. Take that picture for example but adding latest, trending under the pages then having the hashtags in the banner like we do now.
Discuss, post what you think you would like to see or get rid of etc.

I preferred the old, but I love the mobile app for the new theme. So, old for computer, new for phone.

I've been trying to pinpoint what exactly it is I dislike so much about the new layout but really it's just so many things. It seems very unorganized, it takes to long to load the site the way you want it(click forum, click latest, etc), every feature that was fun about groups and the feeling of privacy was removed. I could go on.

I like the new one, as well as liking the old one. Change is a good thing, adds and expands to what's already good, and removes stale features. I much prefer the interface.
-
I like the layout of the old site, but this new site has a lot of better features.
-
Both versions are great in my opinion, but now that I've used this version a lot it's pretty nice.
-
I really like both. However, if I had to decide I would go with the old version. ;-)

I enjoyed the site as a whole way more on the old site. Not sure how I would feel if the site changed back, I've gotten pretty used to this. I enjoy a lot of the new feature and would not like to see them stripped away.
-
I've gotten used to the new UI now. The old website just seems too dark to me now.
-
I think this is an improvement. I don't need to quote anyone, and people still know who I'm responding to! Black magic, I say!

The only thing that I like about the new version is the notifications. Other than that, I greatly prefer the old version over this. -
I've been through A LOT of Bungie.net layouts, and I think I like this one the best. It's seamless, it looks nice, and it notifies me of replies. My only qualm is the actual post layout. I prefer the classic 'every post is below the last one' format.

I like the new. It's still a work in progress, but I like the look and a few of the new features.

Old, I miss the old site.

1 ReplyThere are some things that I miss about Bungie.old but Bungie.next is superior.

I feel like the old layout was easier to navigate. What happened to the titles?! lol
-
We need titles.

1 ReplyEdited by Kilo: 6/17/2013 7:46:25 AMI like the new version way better. Once you understand how it works it is much easier to follow conversations. I just wish you could block tags.

Can I like both?

If we could have the old forums with the new features (Notifications, group messages, etc), I would be SOOOO happy.

2 RepliesI like the new layout, and the mute/hide function is a god send, but as the Flood has gone rampant with stupidity I feel the mods still need to exert some force in that area. Now I've been stuck in a private group for a while...hoping that it would get better, and I won't name the group, but my god it has essentially become the Flood except with political threads where everyone the same opinion so there's no discussion value. The Flood used to be somewhat bearable but when I returned there and saw the devastation, I was shocked. We need the mods to do more, I have almost NEVER seen anyone banned, and the hide function isn't going to do anything more than hide almost every single thread.

I miss the forum separation on B.old, but I like hashtag system on B.next.
