Obviously not when I can take 5 seconds to go to other threads and pull responses like this:
"People who don't have steam seem to get it messed up with the Xbox One's DRM. It's completely different. Steam has an offline mode the Xbox Done does not.
I can play my game on steam forever in an offline state but the Xbox One you cannot. The direction MS is going is wrong. They basically no longer allow you to own a game and only borrow it with their 24 hour internet required connection bs."
Or this:
"Complete nonsense. This is not progress."
But what they've said is 100% true, Xbone isn't allowing you to play offline for as long as you want, and it forces and internet connection, it's about as progressive as a brick wall in the middle of the road, and it's a completely different method to steam/
It is very progressive. In case you haven't realized, society is moving to a digital age. Virtually everything will be connected to the Internet with a prime focus for being online. Now, everything from televisions, to cars, to phones, to medical equipment, etc is connected to the Internet.
Yes, xbox one doesn't allow you to play offline for as long as you want but it isn't completely inane and without reason. As I spent like 500 words discussing in the OP.
