Well, I'm glad they're covering the core mechanics before they move onto the add-ons. I'm sure when the space-ship sections come roaring in, they'll be freakin' brilliant. If I have to wait for a Comet DLC, or Destiny 2, then so be it. Another thing. Each destination 2/3rds of Reach? Well I highly doubt they mean a single campaign level, so you kinda have to bump that up to either the entire game, or the entire campaign. Sadly reach was more linear than the previous halo games in my opinion. So personally, I'd have to bump that up some. Which, in turn, would make it perfectly massive. And as one of the folks had said, I believe, during one of the interviews, that wall in Old Russia can be traveled around. So if each Destination is roughly that size...well, lets make a list shall we! The City(Ea), Old Russia(Ea), European Dead Zone(Ea), Hellmouth(Mo), Acceleration Station(Mo), Moons Core, Mercury(At least one location), Shores of Time(Ve), The Citadel(Ve), The Dust Palace(Ma), The -I forget the word- Zone(Ma), The Burried City(Ma), (I think there was two more mars places named/mentioned, I forget), Europa(Ju), Some Space Station around Saturn, and likely at least one location to be assumed for Neptune and Uranus, and possibly pluto. So, give or take, that's about 17-19 locations. 17-19 locations (We know about at least) that're /Two thirds/ the size of reach. Get your baskets out kids, we'll be having an easter egg hunt for sure.

  • I don't think then next installment of the game will be called "Destiny 2", but rather just filling in new campaign events and further extending the already existing game. You can't create a persistent world for 10 years by wiping it out after the first 2 years and making a "Destiny 2"

  • Well, no, they'd have to upgrade and bring the already present areas and such up to snuff. As well as add in the new things, and make it all work together.
