I have had a problem recently with my Turtle Beach x12 Wired Headset with my Xbox 360.
It is kind of hard to explain, so I will try to describe a normal day with my Turtle Beach.
I am in a party chat with my friends and I am sitting STILL on my couch. At some point one of my friends will tell me that my microphone is making a noise "like I am eating my mic"
However, my mic was an appropriate distance away from my mouth, and like I said, I was not moving around that much. On the other hand, it is almost impossible for me not to move my controller while playing a game.
I had no idea that my mic was making the noise until someone told me.
I seem to have discovered the problem, but it is one I cannot help. The cable that connects the "Volume Changer" to the controller is where I have detected the problem. The plug that is inserted into the controller's mic input has the ability to spin and move around while plugged in. This seems to cause the loud and horrible problem. I asked my friend to move his cable around for his headset, and he does not have the problem. So I have no idea what I can do.
If I was not clear enough, fell free to ask questions.

1 ReplyIf you have a charger plugged to the controller unplug it.
