I don't know what that means, here's the scale we use:
4.3 - A+
4.0 - A
3.7 - A-
3.5 - B+
3.0 - B
2.7 - B-
We get a 0.5 bump for honors classes, and a 1 point bump for AP
That guy's scale panders to unintelligent people
It's the standard 4.0 grading scale. Schools that give more points for an A+ are artificially inflating your GPA.
Its not dumb, the scale he just mentioned is the scale used in almost every college, its the scale my college uses. This kids highschool is preparing him well for college.
You get a .5 bump for honors classes, and a 1 point bump for AP classes.
So say I'm in AP Us History, and I get an A for the year. That means for that class, I got a 4.0, plus the 1 point bump, for a 5.
My school does the same thing.
