I remember one of my friends thought that there were 150,000 American deaths on D-day from the beach invasions. I faceplamed so hard that day.

Edited by Uberdawg: 6/7/2013 12:44:03 AMThere's a general inflationary bias in recounted casualty figures between folks shooting the breeze for shock value. What it also can be is that people confuse casualties with deaths.

He also said that there have been 500,000 US deaths in the war on terror. He's just not too bright when it comes to these things.
