I was very distressed and out of it when I typed my appeal, so to speak. In retrospect, I may have been a little too blunt, but luckily, she's a cool teacher (not the kind that's okay with cursing, but the fact that she didn't disregard me because I used the term "up shit creek without a paddle", that means she's cool with [i]me[/i] cursing outside of a formal setting) and she "appreciate[s] my candidness".
