  • I wasn't being entirely serious. I recognize the need for allies but it seemed like a "How can America get involved and benefit from this?" Getting involved in everything without the need isn't a good practice to have.

  • Like it or not, the world is only stable with one superpower and I think a lot of people would rather have America be the supwerpower isntead of mainland China. Competing superpowers will lead to a Cold War scenario and a much more uneasy relationship between China and America/NATO.
