I currently have a crude three monitor setup. The left and right monitor are 20" while the middle one is a 24" monitor. I've been debating if I should go all out and buy three identical monitors with minimalist edges and a VESA mounting stand.

I love everything about that setup minus the chair.

It's a pretty sturdy chair for what it is, but it's certainly not in the same league as a chair with adjustable arm rests/reclining capabilities. It simply gets the job done.

Dorm room? My setup was almost exactly the same.

I would love to get three identical displays and do the nVidia surround.

Well, the current option I'm looking at costs about $800; it's a steep price to pay.

Just get a 3rd 20" and save money.

Ironically, those 20" monitors are the ones I want to throw out. I cannot VESA mount them and their specs are inferior to the 24" in every way. I could get two more of the 24" monitor, but I want a thinner bezel if I were to go with a VESA mount.
