Mixed feelings on an AH. Gold spammers and hacked accounts are a big downside. Being able to sell things I don't need to make money to buy things I do need is certainly a plus.

Didn't think about the last part of your post. Selling off junk or items your class can't use to buy things you need is important but in the long run the issues that can come with the AH in my opinion out weigh the good.
