EDIT: check out the comic contest I'm hosting https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/111820381/0/0/1
So after I posted a question thread about the Destiny books I saw some deep divisions in the preferences of some of our readers, even some saying they don't like videogame books! (I know, right?)
So I've decided to make a thread where you say who would be your ideal Destiny author!
I'd be excited to see Patrick Rothfuss as an author, he seems pretty good at medival fantasy, I think such a skill could translate into the world of Destiny quite well.
Whose name do you want to see underneath the title of a Destiny novel? (you can choose more than one)

Edited by Walrus Walter: 8/2/2015 1:25:27 PMTo be honest, I'd rather have Destiny Comics and it seems that that would be more likely being that the publisher is Activision and they really like comics

1 ReplyRichard Castle. Anyone? No? OK. But seriously Erich Nylund would kill it. I'm not much of a reader, bit if he wrote it I would read it.

1 ReplyGeorge RR Martin. A throne made of minotaur parts. I mean, some of it has likely already been written by him. The queen looks like she probably shags her brother.

Eric Nylund because he made such great halo games! I have a story idea in mind and currently starting it..I'm gonna write it all the way whether bungie sees it or not.. I don't care if it doesn't get published...I'm really just writing for me and I hope they see it when I send it in! But if all else fails....Eric nylund.

2 RepliesIf Destiny ever had enough concrete lore to fill one chapter -let alone one book- I'd say hand the reins over to Eric Nylund. He did really well with the Halo books (better than Traviss) and he practically created Gears of War so he certainly has what it takes.

Eric Nylund for sure.
