• What's wrong with books?

  • Nothing's wrong with books. Books are great. Its just that I like good books. Books like 1984 and Atlas Shrugged. Not books about video games. And yes, I have read the Halo books. They suck.

  • So they shouldn't write books because you dislike the author I suggested? Everyone has their own book preferences, just because I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan doesn't mean I think the author shouldn't write more books of any type. Also the halo books never contained vital info, it was all secondary to what the games told you. So you can go your happy way without ever reading them. Why do you wish to deprive me of a good book?

  • 343 is Microsoft, not Bungie. Bungie is making Destiny. Do your research before making statements. It's just your opinion that the halo books stank, and no one asked for it, now go back to the flood where you belong.

  • WTF? You said that the Halo books never contained any vital info. Well if you wanted to understand what the -blam!- was going on in Halo 4 you had to have read the Forerunner books wrote by Greg Bear you idiot. Obviously its you who doesn't do their research you little bitch. Now go read your Halo books you 15 year old little -blam!-.

The Halo books while Nylund was writing were made under Bungie, now it's Microsoft, while the books were managed by Bungie there was no such problem. Nub.

  • Well then you should have specified that in your reply. All you said was:
Also the halo books never contained vital info, it was all secondary to what the games told you. So you can go your happy way without ever reading them.
So you clearly have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to good books. Enjoy reading your books for 10 years olds.

  • While I'll agree that 1984 was a good book, I preferred Aldous Huxley's "A Brave New World". I don't necessarily agree that all the Halo books were crap, I'll agree that if not properly written and following lore they will suck. Some of the Star Wars books are written incredibly well and I'd say are far better than what we see written for the films.

  • Thats because Drew Karpyshan is an amazing writer, at least I assume you are talking about the Bane series and some of his other work.

  • Ha! Yes, I was. Which is probably why when he wrote the first Dragonage book, I ate it up. A shame so few authors attached to an existing property write decently enough. Yet they are published, which is more than I can say for myself...

  • Lol. You're probably one of those losers who thinks the Da Vinci Code is a great intelligent read.
