• I don't understand people can seriously be this insensitive. Is it just out of spite, or do you simply give no thought whatsoever to the things you say and do?

  • I give plenty of thought as to what I say, which is exactly why I use their physical sex. The "T" in LGBT is the line I draw. While I agree the child's predicament is in a grey area for her, real Trans are still their physical sex, no matter how much they mutilate themselves.

  • >Implying I have a fear of them. Top Lel. I'm not the one with the mental illness. There's a mental illness where a person feels like their skin is offending part of their body and they constantly try to rip it off, they have to take meds in order to stop them from cutting their skin off. What makes Trans different, why should we have one group be told that ripping their skin off is harmful to them, but cutting ones dick off is perfectly normal behavior? Don't even say it's a straw man, you and I both know that's it's not normal for anyone to do bodily harm to themselves just because the brain says so.

  • A phobia is a irrational fear, until Phobia gets rewritten in the dictionary you're just gonna have to stick to making statements instead of throwing insults made up by the Feelings Police. I also like how you completely ignored the bottom, shows that you can't rebuttal with The Truth. There is nothing normal about wanting to cause permanent bodily harm to yourself.

  • haha, are you really so stupid that you think a word is can only be the sum of its composite parts?

  • Sorry I'm considered stupid going by it's literal definition since that's the way the word has been used in English since the words creation. Still waiting for that answer on how it's normal to want to cut off your dick.

  • As if I'm going to indulge your trolling. You're just another one of the simpletons who's been begging for an excuse to be muted, and you've more than provided for that here.

  • Alright, if you're not trolling and you're being honest with yourself, then you should be able to admit these two simple points: 1) Words don't have single fixed meanings 2) Pronoun selection is a matter of courtesy, not what you think a transgender person's 'true' sex is If you can't acknowledge either of those two simple facts, then you're either a troll or an idiot, and I'm not going to allocate any more time to addressing you.

  • 1. Fine, Phobia can mean something else entirely. 2. Fine, it's a matter of courtesy. Compromise: I call them by what they want to be called by in front of them, but I don't have to do so outside their company.

How do you know you're outside the company of transsexuals right now? By the way, I appreciate you being able to acknowledge those points, and I've decided not to mute you, if it's of any interest.

  • It's the internet, no one I know of comes here. So it's not like a bunch of them are gonna knock on my door and yell at me for what I said on here. Also, I keep drama in the thread it came from. I don't mute people over what they say in one thread cause I pretend it never happened when I'm in another thread. Courteous of other threads.

  •
How does whether or not you know them personally matter?
Lack of repercussions? Couple of people get mad at me over the internet? Pfff clearly they haven't been to /pol/. Say something in public that's clearly offensive? There's a long list of negative things that would happen to me if I did that.

  • I may be wrong, but where did it say that they adopted him when he was one year old? Regardless, even if that was the case, it isn't that relevant since the parents may not be aware of the full extent of the damages until the child gets older and realizes his "correct gender".

  • They're still severely late. And since the child was under the custody of the government during the operation, they had the legal power to choose what to do to her at the time.
They're still severely late.
Meh, I disagree but whatever.
And since the child was under the custody of the government during the operation, they had the legal power to choose what to do to her at the time.
Legal custody doesn't grant the government (or guardians) the ability to perform operations (that aren't justified) that can cause the child significant harm in the future. However, I would put more blame on the people that recommended the procedure since clearly they were wrong in thinking it would be in the child's best interest.

  • Here's a question, the child was intersex. Is that like a Hermaphrodite? Did it have a penis and testicles?

I don't know. There are various different types. He did at some point at least have a penis, since that is what they surgically removed.
