Yeah, I really didn't have a problem with it. I just didn't like the EA tag slapped on it. I always felt as if they were a greedy company. Still though, I don't mind sending some money back to companies like DICE and BioWare.

le xd trole so fahny joek
-
You can't be serious.
-
Yeah I was. It allowed Devs to make money off of used games.
-
Should Car manufacturers start demanding 6% of every used car purchase? should you have to pay that out of your own pocket even after you've already bought the car, and taken it home?
-
But used means being purchased twice. Once the product is initially purchased, why should the original seller still make a profit? When has that ever been true?
-
As much as I dislike passes, I have to agree with you on that point.
-
Doesn't seem like it, or they wouldn't have dropped them in the first place.
-
So if you bought a used game and wanted to play multiplayer you'd be happy to pay extra money for something you should be able to use anyway? That's like buying buying a DVD and having to pay extra to watch the ending,
-
Well I dont buy used games. But yes. If I was going to buy Madden 2012 and I wanted to play online. I should have to pay the extra 10 bucks.
-
Obviously trolling...
-
Thats cute that you think so. but no, Im not. I like to support the Devs I like.
-
Ok, then you're just an idiot. If you like to support the devs you like buy the game new. Others that don't believe in the developer or think the product may suck will buy a used copy. A copy that already made money from someone that had trust and obviously lost said trust during their time with the game. If developers want to make money they should make games that don't suck. People will buy the games new because they don't want to wait for price drops or used games.

I'm an idiot because I like the way a Dev makes money? Yeah, I must be an idiot. Enjoy making 40k a year
-
Yeah, I must be an idiot. Enjoy making 40k a year
Why do you always pull shit from your arse?
-
If you cant realize that a company needs to make money, you have no business sense. Thus wont make any money
-
Clearly they weren't making any money from it, duh.
-
They wern't making ENOUGH money from it.
-
Either way, it was still a shitty last ditch attempt to make some money. It's a good thing it's being stopped; now maybe EA will be less hated.
-
It doesn't matter if they are hated or not. Their games still sell millions and millions of copies every year
-
You're missing the point.
-
So you like the way devs use shitty tactics to make even more money? They already originally sold the game and made loads of money off of it. And now because someone felt the game wasn't worth paying the regular price for the dev should get rewarded? People buy used games because they are unsure of the product. The devs shouldn't make money off of the same game twice(sometimes more than twice). Their is a reason EA was voted worst company in America 2 years in a row. This is one of the many reasons.
-
That was voted on my the stupid internet teenagers. The point of a company is to make money.
-
The point of a company is to make money by making a product worth playing. Not making a product that loads of people trade in and loads of people pick up used because they are unsure of it. And then try to make money off of that same game again. Only an idiot would truly enjoy the online passes. It surely doesn't help the less fortunate gamers at all. You're saying it's better for greedy devs to get more money than it is for the less fortunate gamers to get a little break?
