Until they are able to put in every benefit and hinderance into videogames when it comes to the comparison of sexes I don't see it as necessary. Even if the hip hitbox is altered to be large than a male's it still wouldn't be accurate. Another huge topic is that people aren't physically the same, they are millions upon millions of variations that would have to be taken into consideration. I truly would like to see every similarity and difference in a game like Destiny but I don't see it as feasibly possible yet. Statistically males are stronger but females have higher pain tolerance. Men tend to be able to run faster than females but females tend to be able to run longer. Those are just a minuscule fraction of how many differences there are between sexes. Then there is the cross-gender debate and the transexual debate and so on. In the end the hit-boxes should be equal if they are not the exact same.

Women tend to have a lower pain threshold and lower pain tolerance than men. But yes, there are too many differences to count and it simply makes more sense to make the hit-boxes as close to equal as possible

Females are less effected by it but males can overall take more at once. Females = long term Males = short term This is mainly to do with the genetic makeups effecting childbirth for females and, during the evolutionary phase thousands of years ago, hunting for men since they would get hurt/attacked.

I know that with Exos it won't matter since robots can be uniform in size to some extent, but for humans I personally prefer my chicks hot and my dudes buff (I'm a gamer not a sexist lol!).

That is somewhat sexist but I understand where your lust is coming from. You have your own concept of beauty while others have theirs. Still, watch the sexist tones.

In real life I care WAY more about personality than looks, but heck, it's a fantasy world. I know Bungie will not hyper-sexualize girls (that is annoying in a lot of videogames).

I was about fully agree with you but Cortana happened.

Edited by Progo: 5/6/2013 10:34:06 PMI liked Halo CE Cortana, mean, blocky, and I believe the bewbies didn't weigh more than 50 lbs. But I don't mean that main characters should have the very sexy qualities, I like dynamic characters in the story, but I don't mind players being allowed to have perfect bodies.

For me the story is everything.
-
Well no problems there since I prefer good story over hotness as well! For me it's just a perk ;)

Edited by Progo: 5/6/2013 11:23:42 PMSorry if I offended you mate, I am practically a big brother to a kid who was born with squid like stubs for arms, I have several downs/autistic friends, it's just a thought that people who can chop apart space zombies should have athletic bodies, which as one of the Ninja's put it 'saving the universe is easier on the eyes if curves are involved'

You didn't offend me, but there are some who would find that offensive on this forum. It was more of a general warning. It doesn't matter what "nice things" you do for society, someone will still hate you if you offend them. It still sounds like I'm offended. I'm not, don't worry. It would be very difficult to offend me.

Ah, okay! :)

Rest easy, you seem to be in the clear.
