Yeah, they are environmentally friendly and save energy. Until they break and release mercury. That is why I don't buy them. Also, areas with access to better education tend to vote conservative, so they probably know this.

Last time i checked New Hampshire,Alask and VA are pretty Conservative inb4 dutchy is all like "But VA turned blllluuuu!"

NH isn't pretty conservative at all, and Alaska only did well on the High School graduation chart, which I consider to be irrelevant because I highly doubt high school students were part of the study. Virginia is the exception, but it doesn't negate the trend. Liberal states tend to be more academically successful than conservative states.
