I do 19 hours a semester, work 12 a week, and do research the remainder.
Also I am trimester
Doesn't mean anything, twit. Classes are designed for that. Well, maybe you should do something more productive than a frat? Or would that be too logical?

This thread is not about my coarse load. It is comparing the credits I get in chemistry with a 4 hour lab that requires a shit ton of studying while psych 100 gives you the same credits

Edited by Vicex: 4/27/2013 4:46:14 AMBut it's still a 100-level course, no? err... not organic... but lab isn't bad- it's 5 where I'm at.

Organic is not a 100 level class... At my school the lab reports take on average 5 hours to complete with an hour of pre-lab. You have to figure the lab out before you get there
-
But it isn't a log scale- you still have to earn credits your freshman year, but you can't have organic be worth like 10 hours because then students would take, maybe two classes and thats it.
-
I would be happy with 1 more credit.
-
Well, yeah... but credit hours are not that important, the whole idea of the credit system is to keep students in school and take certain classes
