Okay.
You're finally getting into the science wing of college. 17 hours only a week?
This spring semester, I've been in class for 47 hours in one week: 11 hours Monday through Thursday and 6 hours on Friday. My fall semester puts me in class for 12 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm in class for 8 hours on Thursday and Friday.
I like how you don't complain about any other filler classes except for anything liberal related. Good luck getting a good grade in that class, you're going to have a very hard time with your attitude.

Where the hell do you go so that you're in class for over 45 hour a week. What happens if you get homework?? Damn, I'm an EE major and I don't get more than 20 hours of class time a week, and about 20 hours of homework a week.
-
What homework? Most of my time is spent on studying, lab work and more lab work. This semester I did many labs just to get the transfer credits done, and next semester, I'll be doing the "harder" part of my major.

Animal Science and Biology major in a nutshell. About 8 of it is in lab though.
-
That's still crazy. How many different classes are you taking?
-
6 classes. Microbio + Lab = About 12 hours a week O. Chem + Lab = About 16 hours a week.
-
Damn, those are some rough labs.

This is just for my pre-vet degree. Working with other vets, they told me that getting the pre-vet degree is the hardest part of it while going through vet school will be cake if I'm succeeding with the way I'm going.
-
I'm in a trimester system though.

Roommate's a Pharmacy major. Takes both of those classes with labs He's in 6 classes and spends 12 hours a week in class and 10 hours a week in lab. That's 22 hours.
-
The 40+ hour week includes my other classes as well. Basically, if I were to think of it in an optimistic way, it's kind of like high school, going to class 5 days a week for 8 hours a day. But it's not like that, sadly.
-
I wasn't complaining about the time in class I am in, because I am going to be in a lot more later. -blam!- TRIMESTERS, but how bull shit it is that pre-med, chemistry, pre-vet, physics, and engineers have to work compared to liberal art majors for the same credits.
-
Bull shit I will get a bad grade. I will over achieve it and get an A for kicking ass.
