It could potentially shorten the amount of time that they would spend in grade school. Kids could be graduating at around age 16.

    If there weren't any extra breaks then those 3 months per year would add up. For the 12 years kids spend in grade school they spend 3 years on summer break.

  • They get the same amount of time off from school, but distributed differently throughout the year. Instead of getting 3 months off in the summer, they get a few weeks here and there.

    I know how it usually works but hypothetically if they didn't or gave them only a few weeks in place of it, then they could cover more ground in less time. It would probably end up costing more but investing in education is never a bad idea.
