God, following reply chains like this one gets ridiculous after 20 or so replies. This is why nested replies were a terrible idea.

How is advocacy of rational thinking in regards to governmental, scientific, technological, medical, and economic matters at all worthy of being told to "-Blam off?" That's the pinnacle of efficiency.

That's the pinnacle of efficiency.
Because they're forcefully suppressing religious beliefs. If you think that American advocacy of religion is bad, the Chinese advocacy of irreligion is much worse, because they will shut down churches and arrest religious leaders on invalid suspicions of being "domestic terrorists". As The Ambassador said, anyone who thinks that the policies being put in place by the PRC regarding religion are good is a fool.

"Because they're forcefully suppressing religious beliefs." So? "If you think that American advocacy of religion is bad, the Chinese advocacy of irreligion is much worse, because they will shut down churches and arrest religious leaders on invalid suspicions of being "domestic terrorists"." As long as those being incarcerated and persecuted are Christian, there's no problem with this. "As The Ambassador said, anyone who thinks that the policies being put in place by the PRC regarding religion are good is a fool." Tolerating Christianity, the greatest disaster in human history along with Islam, is the pinnacle of stupidity.

I say we ban him. Not for attacking Christianity, but for being a -blam!-ing retard.

-
Can I call him a bigot, now? Huh guys?

Edited by Winy: 4/21/2013 11:55:20 PMThat's true. I had no idea the concepts being put into practice would be so extreme.

The government shouldn't advocate atheism.
-
Very true. They should, however, advocate the destruction of a religion as evil as Christianity.
-
-
So the government should advocate Christianity, but not atheism or any other beliefs. I know you can be a bit of religious nut, but that's really bigoted.
-
Edited by Winy: 4/21/2013 6:54:54 PMI agree, but there's more going on here than just suggesting of a larger atheistic audience. Your response indicated that you think this -
rational thinking in regards to governmental, scientific, technological, medical, and economic matters
- Is a bad thing.
-
You're so for America advocating Christianity and you know it. So what's wrong with the Chinese government advocating atheism?
-
This is also relevant. Isn't Max a non-Secularist?
-
-
He kind of agreed.

for some reason I thought it said marxism

for some reason I thought it said marxism

Only when you use the American definition of secularism.
-
That is the definition of secularism. Christ this is getting tiresome.
-
Nope. It's not. Other countries do it differently then the USA does.
-
I know that, my own country does it differently. Hell, I spent my entire school life in a Catholic school. My country is also technically not secular.
-
What county is that?

Australia
