I know, but it's been around for a while and nobody else seemed to notice. You'd think that someone would notice a mistake much sooner, but no one did, so people would assume that it has no mistakes.

But, I mean, it's not like the kid's just "sticking it to the man" or whatever. It's an honest mistake and I'm sure the professors involved have already acknowledged that.

I used authority in context of expertise on a subject, not as in power in a society.
