And still getting ads? Francis investigates tonight at 11.

1 ReplyOnce again, he has a point. Xbox players, why do you pay for a service that is free one every other platform?
-
I'm actually not paying for it right now, my gold expired about a week ago. Not sure if I want to renew.
-
2 RepliesThey're saving up money from subscriptions and the adds in order to make XBL on the 720 free. ... Obviously.

Yeah I feel like I'm overpaying for a service that is not that much better than PSN. I do think it's better, but not that much better. Not 60 dollars better. And with that being said, I think PSN plus is better than Xbox Live in terms of the sales and shit they get. I just enjoy the Xbox 360 and I have friends on here I play with so I guess that for me makes it worth it. Almost.

I'm certainly not.

I love how his face is getting all red it's hilarious!

I don't get why. I've stopped paying now after my account was hacked (luckily I got it back, phew) and I'm just waiting until it runs out now. Going for PC gaming. Once I get enough to build one,I'll be saving in the long term.

4 RepliesI get it for 1$ a month.

Paying for XBL ... guessing its so when the Next console comes out we can actually use the thing. Always connected ... and like Destiny, silver wont get you anywhere :(

Microsoft looks across the aisle and sees Sony offering it for free and losing money. As for the ads, I do not know. They don't bother me and I have no trouble navigating around them.

Edited by Enlightened One: 4/15/2013 2:00:45 PMMicrosoft claims its for heightened security.. Yet now they are having some odd issues with Xbox Live.. I wonder if this has anything to do with more people not renewing their subscriptions? If their next gen doesn't bring anything better to the table for Xbox Live, it's going to suck.
