That is an improvement, and wish the same had been done during gameplay. I found Halo 4's music frustrating. The gun and vehicle sounds were too loud; character voices and the soundtrack were both too quiet. I ended up turning the game volume down, and so missed the music almost entirely. The music should have been enriching, not drowned out.

  • Why the hell do Halo games neglect volume control?!

  • Music was the only thing too low, which was a real shame. I loved the soundtrack, but the music being drowned out meant that people couldn't appreciate it. Unfortunate.

I found the character voices to be loud enough. Agreed that the soundtrack was too quiet. Also, despite loving the soundtrack, it wasn't implemented well at all in the game (something this series is trying to fix). I mean, we heard six seconds of Awakening throughout the entire game.
