Ur-Didact. For somebody that's supposed to be all big and bad he easily got killed.
The Prometheans. They weren't fun at all to fight they were just annoying. They are bullet sponges that teleport around the map. I was playing on Legendary, but still. 343 should have realized that them having that much health, teleporting and some with shotguns. Was just dumb and dickish move to do. Did they even play test the game on the higher difficulties?

He isn't confirmed to be dead.

See, you've taken a thread which asks about the worst videogame villains and turned it into an opportunity to bitch more about Halo 4. Your reasoning for the Ur-Didact is that "he got easily killed"... The Knight's teleporting ability is absolutely fine, it adds a new dynamic to gameplay and if you play enough you can predict when they're going to do it so you can use the opportunity to get into cover or attempt an assassination in the brief window of time you have. While I do agree that their bullet-spongeyness borders on Halo 2 Brute-esque annoyance, once you learn how to fight them properly they are barely much of a problem. As for the Ur-Didact, while his motives weren't covered very well in the game, if we're to take his character as a whole from his journey through Cryptum and Primordium to Silentium and throw in the Halo 4 Terminals then he stands as one of the better villains because of the wealth of backstory he has and you can clearly see his tragic transformation after being driven insane by the Gravemind. Did the game cover this particularly well? No. Should the game have covered this? Yes. But you cannot just throw away and discount the novels because you didn't like him in the game. (Also, the point should be made that the Ur-Didact isn't dead.)

Edited by BerzerkCommando: 4/11/2013 7:26:15 PM
See, you've taken a thread which asks about the worst videogame villains and turned it into an opportunity to bitch more about Halo 4.
Or I'm bitching about the villains. I did say "did they even test the game on the higher difficulties." But that was more towards the Prometheans themselves and not the game. Wasn't the whole point of this thread to post the villains you thought were the worst? I'm sorry I forgot that you can post any villain from a video game, but Halo 4.
I'm sorry I forgot that you can post any villain from a video game, but Halo 4.
Hmm, not sure I remember the part where I said that. You know... I think you're putting words in my mouth there. Your bitching was utterly unsubstantiated and general (thus fitting the definition of the word 'bitching' rather than 'arguing'). Doesn't matter what you asked, it was a stupid question. Of course they'd have tested it on Legendary, your justification for that question is because you find it a little bit too difficult... And apparently that places them among the (key word) worst video game villains?

Hahahaha arguing lol you guys made me laugh thanks

Shut up.

umadbro?

Trolls get muted.

It's funny because you still think you have some kind of high ground here.
-
Oh no! Legitimate logic? KILL IT.
-
That wasn't legitimate logic at all. Bezerk gave his reasons why Ur-Didact was a bad villian, and then gave reasons why 343's design of him was bad. And then Chronarch like the dorky 343 fanboy that he is decides to hate on him for it. Now shut up.
-
Er... You have read Bezerk's post, right? He mentions the Didact once and then bitches about something unrelated to that, it's always tragic when I have to tell someone what is being said by both myself and the other poster. I was not 'hating' on anyone, I was pointing out the fact that his post was utterly ridiculous in content - much like every one of yours in this thread. :)
-
I like how you reduce his two paragraphs down to "hating". Shut up? If you haven't figured it out, the last thing I'll be doing is following your words, considering you haven't said any intelligent ones yet.

Oh look another troll. Muted.

Well, my work here is done.

Muted.

Please continue! Every comment you make towards me only further deteriorates your dwindling amount of credibility!

Especially the fact you beat him with a few buttons.
-
I think it was 2. You pressed B or some button a couple of times then you pushed a button to plant the nuke on him.
-
It was quite disappointing for the end.
-
It was. They derped up for any type of boss fight for him. Because of his abilities you really can't go one on one with him. You could if you have the same, but I don't see that working out great for game play.
-
I thought the build up to that point was good but they overpowered him so a fight was not optional.
