Hi Gnome Scat, I know some of the things weren't clear. The secondary fire would take down shields like the Maulers from Halo 3, and you also can't spawn with them, so I feel this an improvement over the current Boltshot in Halo 4.
Ok. You have some interesting ideas, by the way. Although I do disagree with keeping loadouts; They should be dropped down to only Armor Abilities and Armor Mods (like AA Efficiency, for example), but have weapons and grenades removed; Plasma Pistols and Stickies from spawn really ruin vehicular gameplay.
I see what you mean. But I kind of have a compromise there. You can spawn with a primary weapon, but you can't choose your secondary or grenade. So nobody can start with a Plasma Grenade or Plasma Pistol. I agree that they ruin vehicular gameplay and I really don't know why they were added. I would like to cut out loadouts or cut then down even more, but I think picking a starting weapon is a core part of what new gamers want.
Yeah that's true. Now that there's no bloom too, it's definitely going to need rebalancing. I was looking for a counterpart to the BR, and I thought the auto-fire would be an interesting addition.
