Mewtwo was perfect the way he is, he doesn't need a new form.
This is basically a way to get the old players back by giving the most powerful pokemon more powerful.
Fun Fact: Mewtwo is the most powerful legendary from any game.

I wouldn't say so. A lot of legends can wreck mewtwo. Deoxys A can OHKO with shadow ball.

I just checked the Pokemon Wiki and it says mewtwo's base strength was the original highest at 680 until Aceus. Like I said in the games.
