The first one. Not the unfinished and unpolished second game.
I've never actually beaten this game fully, for some reason I never managed to get all the way to the climax of the game in my youth. I always played as a Dark Jedi though because I wanted to be a contrary canary and be different from my Light Side siblings.
I'm about to make my character, does anybody have any suggestions on what sort of character I should make? I've forgotten the classes, the force powers, and the feats, and I figured making a thread on Bnet is more amusing than simply looking it up.
What say you Floodians?

Query: Why are you which a meatbag? Get HK-47 and max out his armor and heavy weapons capabilities; it will be really useful for the final two-part mission, that, and he's not a slovenly meatbag.
The first one. Not the unfinished and unpolished second game.
http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/197-tsl-restored-content-mod/ Download this mod if you play the second one on PC. It restores cut content and quite a bit of cut dialogue. Helps the game run better and adds a few extra feats.
The first one. Not the unfinished and unpolished second game.
Blasphemy! I loved the second, more than the first I may add. But you're not wrong, it wasn't finished when released, I still love it though. It doesn't matter which class you pick at the start, soldier is usually the easiest, but when you start learning the ways of the force don't go for the counselor, it's not easy for beginners, go for either of the other two. That's about it, best of luck, it is a cracking game, and HK47 is awesome.

I never got past Jedi Training on that game. I really wish I could have finished it though. Combat requires patience, though.

I also had a craving to play this game yesterday so I made another character. I'm at the Taris sewers part, one of my least favorite parts of the game. But this was my first time picking a scoundrel and I now realized they are not good for melee combat, which I am regretting deeply.

Edited by CoRaMo: 4/3/2013 5:29:26 PM
contrary canary
I have to remember that one. OT: Be a Soldier and then a Jedi Guardian. Don't bother with blasters. Stick with melee weapons. Use brute force the whole game.

I always played on the light side and made Bastila fall in love with me.
-
I swear this was one of my favourite games.

Play through it multiple times (starting at Dantooine of course) because the game always plays a little different. I usually love my 1 blue saber with lots of force powers (playing in a Kyle Katarn sort of way) or my dual sabers focusing on brute strength. Sometimes even a double-blade with a mix.

2 RepliesWhy dark side? Then you'll end up looking like the lead singer of an 80's glam rock band

1 ReplyI liked how the light side/dark side choices worked. They had it so that the dark side choices were the easier path and the dark side was longer/harder.
-
6 RepliesI hated the combat in that game. I think you should make a bad character with a heart of gold.

I say find the really old OXM disc that had a modified save for it; that way you can have nearly every power and high leveled skills! But..yeah. Good luck with that.

I love this fckin game so much, might replay it myself soon. I generally go for Soldier at the start and then Jedi Consular. The main Force powers I generally focus on getting are: - Shock / Lightning / Storm - Push / Whirlwind / Wave - Affect Mind / Dominate Mind - Wound / Choke / Kill - Slow / Affliction / Plague - Fear / Horror / Insanity - Drain Life / Death Field I'm usually light side, but as soon as I touch down on Korriban it's dark side FTW.

I always played light-side, because some of the dark side choices made me feel really bad... Class-wise, I thought scoundrels were fun, 'cause of the stealth and stuff. They die easily, though...

I love both of those games, so good.

You know I should probably go finish the game. Im actually quite close to the end but I have never bothered to finish it.
