I think so too.. Especially my cat.
-MY cat knows his name. You can call him from across the house and you can get him to run to you like a dog does when you call them by their name.. funniest thing ever!
-Comes in the house when it gets dark (We won't allow him to be coyote chow)
-Usually sleeps with me when I go to bed. Rests himself next to my pillow
-He purs all the damn time.. You pick him up and he'll start purring. Lol
-He's about 4 years old and is still very playful
-He's a Social cat. Loves to be around people and will talk to you often (Course, you can't understand what he says)
-His fur is soft to touch and doesn't smell like a dogs would
-He'll sit at the dinner table in an empty chair and hang with us, watch us eat. Or he'll climb on his cat tree that is also in the dinning room and hang out with us from there.
-He drinks out of the toilet like a dog would occasionally
-He's an average size cat, so easy to pick up and give him a petting. You can't do that with MOST grown dogs
-Doesn't bark at everything like most dumb dogs do. In fact, he really doesn't bark at all
-The one thing he can't do that a dog does is the ability to fend off an intruder.. that's what my guns are for.
