While I love anything to do with Xmen, and I'm a huge fan of the character, I really didn't enjoy the other Xmen movies. Didn't see Wolverine Origins however, mainly because I heard it wasn't that great. Chances are I'll give it a watch anyways. Probably won't make a special trip to the theater for it, but definitely rent it at least. I just started watching the old Xmen cartoons not too long ago as well, so it be fun to watch regardless.

First Class is definitely the best movie iteration. I suggest you go see that if you haven't.
-
1st class and origins fail continuity wise. If you want to know why, let me know.
-
Days of Future Past is going to use time travel to reconcile all the movies and retcon X3.

Edited by lonepaul2441: 3/28/2013 3:42:55 PMIsn't that a game in the DC universe coming out? But seriously a Bald older Prof in origins is able to walk but 1st class younger prof loses the use of his legs. Considering Stan Lee is supposed to keep canon he does a poor job.
-
1st class contradicts Origins and X3. Probably intentionally.
-
No, it's the sequel to First Class, and takes place in both the 70s and in the dystopian future ruled by Sentinels.
-
I know why. Doesn't detract from the quality of the film though.
-
So you noticed the Young prof being handicapped but the older bald version in Origins isn't? And I totally agree I enjoyed all the X-men films and I would happily watch this one to.
So you noticed the Young prof being handicapped but the older bald version in Origins isn't?
Some people have said that the professor wasn't really there, but a mental projection he put into Scott's head. Or you could concot some BS story about the proffessor regaining use of his legs and then losing it again (either due to experimental medicine or the effect of another mutant's power that didn't "stick")

But the image was real for everybody else and if he found some way to make himself walk again im sure it would have been perfected in 10 years time.
-
You do realise he can affect the minds of multiple people at once? Especially with Cerebro.
-
Yea but explain why everybody in the comics, film's,TV shows and games does he always appear to people in a wheel chair? It makes no sense for him to make that image of himself just once.
-
Oh, I did and I agree. However I thought it was a reboot, but apparently they're getting all the old cast from the other Xmen movies and it's going to tie into them?
-
They're bringing back a lot of X3 cast for the segment in the future, and then they're going to use time travel to "reboot" the timeline and fix some of continuity errors and the X3 ending.
-
Geat... <.< >.> Seriously, aren't they all really old now? Like I thought the actress who played Jean for example, looked too old to play her at the time.
-
Yeah, but the original cast will appear in the dystopian future, so it actually makes sense for all of them to look a lot older.
-
Still wasn't a fan of the majority of the cast. Not horrible, but just not how I picture them.
