I hope that they just unleash the gates of gay. Mainly so we can focus on more important things, like space exploration.

Space exploration is hardly in the top 10 list of "important things".
-
Actually, it is. We'll all die if we don't get off Earth.
-
Not even.
-
An asteroid could destroy all life on Earth at any moment
-
In terms of the future, space exploration is pretty damned important.
-
Not really.
-
Yeah it is, the resources on Earth are finite, if Humanity is to continue its survival it must find a way to colonize and terraform other planets.

Edited by Dr. Phil: 3/31/2013 1:34:06 AMThat's not true. Stop wearing tin foil.
-
Edited by Ninja Guardian: 3/31/2013 1:38:51 AMYeah, it is. And stop assuming every thing I'm saying is a conspiracy. Climate change and the inevitable depletion of resources is a real threat. Space travel may be in the distant future but its still best to plan for the worse.
-
You know people have been saying that for centuries right?
-
Well, the threat is a lot more real now and it doesn't hurt to start planning for the worst.
-
You're being silly, stop it. Space isn't even in the top 30 of pressing issues.
-
My God, you are so stupid.

Oh, please.

Edited by Ninja Guardian: 3/31/2013 1:42:36 AMRight now it isn't to you, but it will be when the Earth runs out. We need to keep funding for space agencies such as NASA high. At least at 1% of the government's expenditure.

Edited by Dr. Phil: 3/31/2013 1:51:30 AMYou're under the assumption that space is the ONLY solution to multiple issues, when that simply isn't the case. You're letting your bias get ahead of you, and it's annoying. Space isn't a pressing issue to anyone, nor should it be.
-
We should still keep funding for research high though. Eventually in a few hundred years Humanity will have to leave Earth. I'm not saying space will solve every thing. I'm saying space is a long term solution for solving overpopulation and dwindling resources.
-
A few hundred years? Why did you even comment in this sub-thread?
-
What's funny is this idiot has played so many sci fi games that he actually thinks he's right.
-
It's more important than "what is marriage and who can marry?" though.
-
Not really. Same-sex marriage also covers marriage benefits, adoption rights, etc. It's more than just wearing a metal ring and living together.
