Bullet drop for everone except hunters
Bullet drop for everyone.
I don't like bullet drop, and here's why. In a game, unless they implement a realistic way to manage your sights (as in Arma), you don't know where your scope is zeroed to. So most of the time, they just make the bullet arbitrarily drop after some point (which is not how bullets travel). And I really don't want to have to set my sights every time I get into an encounter.
Isn't Destiny set in the future? Bullet drop doesn't fit when you have a gun that shoots lasers IMO
After playing Sniper Elite V2 I actually appreciate the whole aspect of bullet drop and think it would be a fun addition to multiplayer games. No more 360 quick scope, auto aim assist. Then we would see who really is able to do what they think they are so great at.
Read this The gun and the related article on it, pretty much calculates where you should aim based on range, bullet drop, humidity, and wind. And because of this being available today, I'm pretty sure somebody in the future world of Destiny, would also have a gun like this. So no, we shouldn't have to worry about bullet drop, if we can acquire a gun like this in-game.
It depends on the scale of the maps you're playing on. The only reason it exists in games like battlefield is for balance, some people think it's for realism. But in reality sniping would be too overpowered without it.
