Should I make a Steam account now? Or wait until I actually have the computer?
-
Doesn't make much a difference whether you make it now or later, but if you wanna stock up on some games, make it now.
-
That brings me to another point what are the pros and cons of Steam? Is it better than XBL/PSN?
-
Yes...a million times yes! Steam has a much better chatting functionality, party system, and voice talk system. Four times every year Steam does epic sales, one for each season. Better and simplier UI. Cloud saving on some games. there's some other stuff but I don't remember them. Also, whatever you do, DO NOT DOWNLOAD lolORIGIN. JUST DON'T!

Won't I not be able to get Battlefield or Simcity?
-
Edited by TopWargamer: 3/16/2013 12:26:04 AMWell I mean...in this case since you want the games, sure go ahead. Also, are you getting the newest SimCity game? If not, the older ones are on Steam.

I heard the new ones pretty good so I was looking at buying it.
-
How much memory does this build have?
-
16GB of RAM (2 8GB sticks) clocked at 1600MHz 1TB of storage space
-
Holy -blam!- that is amazing, so what are some good exclusives for PC I should check out? I already plan on getting Skyrim and Battlefield:P
-
Edited by TopWargamer: 3/14/2013 8:40:43 PMOk, so...good exclusives. The Binding of Isaac Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Company of Heroes Diablo 1,2,3 StarCraft 1,2 Torchlight 1,2 DOTA 2 League of Legends (IMO DOTA 2 is better) FTL: Faster Than Light Garry's Mod Guild Wars 2 (WoW quality MMO with no monthly fees) Magicka Nitronic Rush (if you like arcade style racing games, down this. It's free) Nuclear Dawn PlanetSide 2 (MMOFPS - free) Quantum Conundrum Red Orchestra 2 (realistic, team oriented FPS game, get this) Battlefront 2 (not a PC exclusive, but the PC servers for this game are still up and runnign) Supreme Commander Planetary Annihilation (RTS, not released yet) Star Citizen (RPG, not released yet, look up the trailer though) Tribes: Ascend Unreal Tournament 2004 VVVVVV The Witcher 1,2 All of the Total War games All of those are just from what I own on Steam, there's plenty of others, but you're gonna have to ask around and do some research to find those. :)

There's a ton of awesome exclusives. I'm playing Skyrim right now, so in a little bit I'll try to list a few.
-
Will this be able to run games like Battlefield 3 on high? and will my regular keyboard, mouse, and monitor work with these?
-
You'll be able to max every game, even battlefield...and maybe Crysis 3...I dunno though. And yes, all of your regular peripherals will work, ALTHOUGH you should get a gaming mouse, because you need a mouse with a DPI of AT LEAST 1600 to have the best gaming experience. I own a Razer Deathadder. The max DPI this thing can go up to is 3500 DPI, but I only keep it at 1800. You can pick up a Deathadder off of Amazon somewhere in $40's, alternatively, you can get the Razer Abyssus which is on sale for $30 at Amazon right now.

Edited by omg a bannana: 3/14/2013 3:19:55 PMWhat does DPI stand for/do? And that's alright Crysis games have crazy good graphics, I just want something to run games on at least high for all of 2013.
