Hey! I was a whiny bitch when I was younger too, now I'm not. I think when we finally realize that our actions have consequence we become better people not for others necessarily, but for ourselves. I was also thrown into a kind of leadership situation which made me realize, perhaps more quickly than others, that the people around us respond to how we act. The impact I had was only recently explained, and I was not as aware of it at the time, but what I learned was that people emulate those they admire and this can go a long way. It is similar to education, I do not believe we ever truly learn something unless we have the desire to learn it, so too we many never truly be good people until we desire goodness in ourselves.
Or I'm high. Point being, I do not believe in it and, if I become a parent, I will not use such methods. That said, I'm not going to go out of my way to tell others how to raise their kids.
I'm not going to go out of my way to tell others how to raise their kids.
Nor shall I. I'm not preachy about it, but if asked my opinion about it I'll speak up.

Hey man, I wasn't accusing you of doing so, just adding more of my opinion.
