What if the reason for always online isn't just for the core experience but maybe because the game itself is so huge bungie has built it on a massive server (or multiple servers) at an undisclosed location. Then when we get our disc it only contains an access code to enter this world of Destiny plus all the coding for weapons, armour, customization, vehicles, etc.. It would allow it to be so much bigger than a world of Skyrim and such. Thats maybe why in the ViDoc they say when its turned lose on us they don't neccasarily know what might and can happen. Just a thought.
