What? It's very difficult to take a knife away from someone trying to stab you without getting hurt. Knives are incredibly dangerous.

If you flail at them trying to catch the knife between the palms of your hands it is hard. If you have enough training in a field there are ways. Please note, I'm not saying I could, and I'm not saying just because you know how, means you should or can without fail.

I invite you to search up the prison yard rush. Those being attacked have a 0% success rate of dissarming and a 2% survival rate of fending off the attack among highly train professionals.

Even so, I think my post was off-topic actually on review. That technique was unknown to me and is also quite interesting with the leading off-hand etc, however I'm not sure where you pull those statistics from, and also, I could see this being out-maneuvered, although marginally and with very good timing. On topic however: My response regarding knives being easily disarmed is confirmed within the context of the knife carrier. OP was referring to young teens, who physically haven't developed fully, and most likely do not have the mental capability within a fight.
