You shouldn't, it has a Gigabit LAN port. Do you mean the FX 8350? I don't think the FX 850 exists. Why the hell are you getting a 5000 series card1!1!?!!?11/1 THEY ARE OVER 2 YEARS OLD! I need more info to give to better stuff. Are you building a totally new computer? Upgrading, if so what is getting upgraded and what is the original system specs? Budget?

I'm going to do a totally new build. Trying to get around or under 1k. My processor is the AMD Fx 8150. That GPU I had was the only one with crossfire support with my interface and price range ($100-200). I'm probably just gonna get the 5000 series as a placeholder until I get more cash. Could I run current-gen games on that single GPU?

Current games on a bottom of the list GPU that is 2+ years old, hell no! I will do I good $1k build for you. And if you want a place holder the integrated graphics on that CPU (I think it has integrated graphics) are probably better than that card!! I will do a build for you to give you a better idea of what you can get. I can give you a general one now, but do you need an OS? Do you need a monitor? Need a wireless adapter? What will it's uses be? Gaming? 3D Rendering? Video editing? Here is a good generic all in one build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Gq1q

Edited by Spartan Palmer: 3/1/2013 2:07:59 AMJust Need an OS, Preferably windows seven. Aside From gaming, I'll be running DJ programs like this http://serato.com/dj. That build was pretty supplementary though.

Honestly go with Windows 8. It is faster, and if you really hate the UI, you can download a program that changes it to be like W7. I went into W8 thinking I was going to hate it, and would immediately get the program that makes it like W7, but I gave it an honest try, and I don't LOVE it, but I like it enough to not alter it. If you think that build it good enough, I can't blame you, it is a solid build all around. No corners were cut.
