I hope so. I've introduced so many of my friends to a new game just by playing with them in Co-Op. It's just the way I like playing video games.
-
If there isn't split screen, i wont buy this game
-
i like playing with my cousin so i hope
-
OK i don't know allot about this game but is there no such thing as turning the online mode off? then your buddy can just make a character just like yours, of coarse tho with the limitation of no pvp online or the public events. it would be the same concept of what borderlands have done with there split screen.
-
I have complete faith they will do this. They were among the first to have the "guest" feature in MP.
-
I sure hope so, I'd like it if Bungie added that into Destiny.
-
Edited by Nimmo: 9/7/2013 8:02:52 PMBUNGIE GODS please hear my plea, separate profile split-screen pleeeeeease! My girlfriend will kill me space zombie style just so she doesn't have to take turns on the ps4! My life.. is in your hands!
-
Yes I want split screen to play with my friends. I used it a lot in Halo and I'd use it just as much in Destiny.
-
I hope splitscreen is in Destiny. But I can not say the same for guest accounts, because this a looting game so if they get really good loot it will not save.
-
I think there should cause I play halo with a friend and I am planing to play Destiny with that friend.
-
I think Destiny should have split screen but guest capability should be limited or not there. Me and my brother play on one Xbox and would hate to have to take turns on a game like this.
-
Yes Definitely, I think there should be spilt-screen that's what they did for halo 3 and reach and halo 4, but what they should do about the co-op is that if its split-screen then they should have the story be about both of them and if your playing online and you joined a party with your friends up to 6 then the story should be about all six of them. Just like they did with halo 3 when the story is about the Arbiter and Master Chief.
-
I don't want destiny to be split screen cause that would be two players and I have a little brother who is a devil in my life I hate doing anything with the little retard
-
Bungie should totally add it, adds more replay value if there is cool co-op story.
-
Definitely! The integration of split-screen was actually the only reason me and the majority of my friends were introduced to the game! Really it's a all round good idea to have split-screen in a game especially when people don't have reliable internet connections. Oh those poor souls. ):
-
Split-screen would be a cool feature and would definitely add to the replay value of the game so I don't see why Bungie wouldn't at least consider it.
-
If it doesn't ima b pissed, getting ready to be pissed, already pissed about it not being on PC tho, pissed myself just now also.
-
Split screen is a great idea! But I fear that having this games always online, bungi will not include this feature.
-
I think split screen should be in,its better when me and a friend sit together to play a game (borderlands 2 for example) then over head sets :)
-
I would thoroughly enjoy playing Destiny with my roommate and girlfriend because they're both pretty excited about the game. It won't be a deal breaker for me, but man would that be awesome. I love some good ol' couch co-op.
-
I hope they put it in but if they do i doubt there will be very many options for the guest
-
Should because split screen would raise the replay value in a sense
-
Couch Co-op is ALWAYS better. Always.
-
i love playing split screen but my friends are screen peakers. so am i but who cares.
-
Put in split-screen so we can play offline :)
-
I doubt split screen will be in the campaign because current-gen systems will be maxed out to play this game as is. With the game focusing on customizing the character I doubt a guest can just pop in, but I would expect split screen for the halo-ish competitive multiplayer matches in specially designed maps.
