I can see that. Parts of the original press release for Halo sound more like Destiny than they do like Halo, in restrospect, especially the bits about "complete freedom of movement over open terrain" and "persistent objects" and "cooperative multiplayer". http://rampancy.net/info/articles/halo_brings_action_gamers_a_world_without_end It seems to me that Bungie is putting back things that for whatever reason, never actually made it into Halo. So I'm hoping for composite swords in Destiny. And orbital bombardments.
