Like others have; i'd like to give you a warm welcome to the community! Now to answer your question: I want to say the size of the Last City would be... Well the only comparison I have would be to as big as a city in Assassins Creed would be. It's a terrible example, but at least it made a bit sense (hopefully). As for space travel. A nifty idea would be that they allow us to roam freely above a planets orbit and maybe a bit further, and once we leave the area we'll be met with a loading screen. That's my speculation.

  • The lead engineer from Bungie said there will be NO loading screens. So this could get interesting

Actually the Assassin's Creed sized city sounds pretty good. It would be large for just one small area in the game but it seems like a good size. I guess my main concern would be what to fill all that space up with. In AC, at least up until the most recent one, almost all gameplay was based in these cities so it was necessary to have them spread out and huge. I'm sure the Last City will have stores and other places but will it take up such a large size? It would be awesome to have it that large but I doubt Bungie will make it like that unless they can have a good reason for it. I like your orbit idea too, I can imagine flying about the same distance as Long Night of Solace was from the planet Reach.
