Apple has said the havkers are the same ones who hit Facebook recently. A small number of machines were affected, but there was no evidence of data theft, Apple says. The hacking was enabled by a vulnerability in the Java plug-in for browsers. Apple also said it would release a software update to protect users from the exploit.

Well if it was a problem with Java, why is it only a big deal for Mac users? Seriously if anyone hasn't disabled Java yet you really should do it ASAP.

Looks like it's probably more of an issue with Java (no surprises there) rather than the OS.

And people say that Apple computers can't get viruses...HA....this is just more proof that they do.
