I find it odd Bungie/Acitivsion wants us to pre-order a game coming out in 2014, it stings a little. If it was any other game studio, I would of definitely not pre-ordered yet because we don't know enough about the game. Bungie is one of the only studios capable of pulling this off but I still think we need to see more before hype levels return, especially for a game so far away from completion.
I still think we need to see more before hype levels return, especially for a game so far away from completion.
I'd like to see a bit more gameplay at the very least. It's just risky to preorder a game, especially this early. Maybe not as risky as Kickstarting one, but I'm still planning on giving this game a bit more time to show itself before making a decision. I usually prefer waiting until a game comes out to get it, there's just so much more information in general from reviews, guides, and articles. But many are preordering out of their faith in Bungie. I can't exactly blame them looking at Bungie's development record, but I still think it's suspicious and kind of unfair to give incentives to those who preorder.
