I'm not certain that Destiny is going to be nearly as RPG-like as some of you make it out to be. But for the sake of discussion, what sort of specific skills would you expect players to be able to choose?

The skills would take the place of armour abilities to liken it to Halo, but perhaps could be broken down into more specific aspects for instance the active camo and radar jammer would be separate skills. Personally I would prefer deeper RPG elements in Destiny, and I feel the general vibe from all we've heard alludes to that. A skill system just seems like the natural progression in the line of how bungie have been iterating their gameplay mechanics from pickups in Halo 2, to equipment in Halo 3 and then armour abilities in Reach.

Considering it's an open world, has quests, raids, armor and weapon loot with different stats like WoW, then I would say it's an RPG
